Andrea Walsh studied fine art at Staffordshire University before completing a Masters degree in glass design at Edinburgh College of Art in 2001. She set up her studio in Edinburgh in 2005 and has since exhibited throughout the UK and internationally, including selection for the British Ceramics Biennial Award and the British Glass Biennale. Andrea has participated in a number of prestigious residency programmes including the International Crafts Residency at Cove Park (Argyll & Bute, Scotland) and was awarded a residency with Minton at Wedgwood (Stoke on Trent) as part of the inaugural British Ceramics Biennial. Andrea’s work is held in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and National Museums Scotland in Edinburgh.
